With over 35 years of experience in the investment industry, Brad is dedicated to helping people improve their quality of life through intelligent investment decisions and long-term planning. Brad is SAGE’s founder and team lead. He founded SAGE Connected Investing in 2010 to provide clients with a well-constructed and proven investment management process as well as the tools and support required to make thoughtful decisions about their wealth. At SAGE, clients have the peace of mind of knowing that their money is being properly managed with an effective, common-sense, data- and price-driven approach. 

His History

Brad graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Studies. He started his career in Toronto in 1982 as a stockbroker. He moved to Calgary in 1988 and in 1996 attained his designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Brad became a registered Portfolio Manager in 2002.

Educator

Brad has instructed thousands of investment professionals and students through The Investor Learning Centre of Canada, The Canadian Securities Institute, and The Canadian Institute of Financial Planners. He is the creator and author of the Intelligent Investment Process, which now forms the foundation of the curriculum at the Investor Learning Centre of Canada for their Intelligent Investing Clinics.

Brad has written articles and papers for numerous media outlets, including the Calgary Herald, Alberta Oil Magazine, Upshot Magazine, Nickle's Daily Oil Bulletin and The Financial Post.
